AquaSurTech OEM has acquired Toronto-based coatings company Shurecoat Inc.

The addition provides AquaSurTech with better access to the Ontario and United States markets and enables the company to better serve existing customers, officials state.

The move also gives the Quebec-based company more capacity for its window and door finish products, says Michael Braeuel, AquaSurTech president. The company will still focus on existing environmentally-friendly coating options, he adds.
